Zelday Karssen – Britt Art Didgeridoo
Price on request.
“This is the one didgeridoo, a true collectors item, I have dreamed about for many years. It teaches me all the percussive and airdrum technics I have looking forward to do. This instrument makes me not only a rhythmic player, it allows me to be a percussionist! Something I was searching for a long time in didgeridoo life, and I found it with the sound colour of this unique didgeridoo. This instrument learned me to craft didgeridoo’s in a way that I would like to play on it in this style.”
This didgeridoo was played in airdrum and percussive style in the song Warped and Medusa for the album “Theatre of Subconsciousness” in 2013/2014. It was one of the main didges alongs Karssen’s performing era. The didgeridoo is well suited for meditation, rhythmical playing and the more experimental Airdrum or Aircode techniques.
The specific Airdrum note is to be called very bright, dynamic and extremely clear and loud!
Absolute one of the most stunning didges in Zelday’s collection.

About the artist:
Brigitte Kleiberg (Britt) was born in 1980 in Amersfoort ( NL ). She made her first steps in modern-art in the year 1990. Through pen and pencil drawings she created a realistic style of reality. Later she experimented with charcoal and aquarelle and slowly changed her style. During this period she started selling her artwork on a small scale.
Art got a whole new meaning for her in 1996. Through experiments with acrylic paint on paper, wood and canvas, her realistic style changed to a more figurative abstract image of reality. She gets her inspiration from animals with a story which is obvious to see in the paintings. Each piece has a title but there is always a underlying story behind each and every artwork.
Through the extensive use of colours she brings the artwork to life. ‘Animals are my inspiration, they give colour to each and every day’. I call my work figurative and give my artwork my own twist but at the same time it just happens. I paint each animal as an individual because behind every animal there is its story. The porpoise of my work is that it makes people happy, but at the same time to preserve the values and positive image of all beautiful things we live with for the future so that they will not be lost. In my artwork I use a lot of primary colours because every colour comes to life through combining different colours. The background colours of the artworks are a part of the portrait animal. It tells about its surroundings, its daily life or its future.
