SHAMANIC SOUND MEDICINE CEREMONY with Sacred Cacao and other plant medicine
WHAT
The Sound Medicine Ceremony is a healing ceremony. After drinking the ‘Ceremonial Grade’ Cacao* mixed in a special tea, Hans and Yama will create a deep relaxing Sacred Space with meditation, sounds, vibrations, voice and ‘icaros’ (plant medicine music). This Sacred Space is an invitation for you to fully be Who You Really Are and – if needed – for emotional release. Yama and Hans might support the individual processes with other plant medicines and limpia’s (shamanic healing).
Towards the end there will be singing with guitar and the opportunity for participants to join in the music. We will end the gathering by sharing a healthy and nourishing meal.
*) The Cacao that we use is either wild cacao from the jungle in Peru or an ancient Guatemalan variety, selected and distributed by a ‘Cacao Shaman’ for it’s very strong vibration. It is processed organically and fairtrade.
TIME
You are welcome as from 13.30 for a cup of tea, to prepare your personal spot in the ceremony space. We will the ceremony will start at 14.00 and will last around five hours. Afterwards we will share a meal together and the evening will end around 21:00 o’clock.
PLACE
‘This Is NO Club’, in the heart of the creative breeding ground ‘De Vechtclub’, Brailledreef 9 Utrecht Overvecht.

PREPARATION
On the day before the ceremony eat only light meals (oat porridge, smoothie, fruits, salad, steamed of grilled vegetables, soup) and be sure not to drink any alcohol and/or coffee. On the day itself it is best to only have breakfast. If you do need food for lunch keep it very light, as to have your full energy available for the ceremony.
POTLUCK MEAL
We will end the ceremony by sharing some food to nourish our bodies and help us ground again. We invite you to bring some vegetarian passion food to share. It is very much appreciated if it is homemade.
WHAT TO BRING
– A matrass and other things to make yourself comfortable during the ceremony (like a sheep skin, pillow and blanket).
– Some nice and healthy (vega) passion food to share after the ceremony
– An instrument, if you like
– Your contribution in cash
COSTS
We ask a contribution of 60 euro per person for the ceremony, to be paid cash on arrival.
RESERVATION
We appreciate it if you share your interest here, invite others and share the event on fb.
But for this event it is necessary to make a reservation by email via WildWombWisdom@gmail.com. By doing so you commit yourself to the payment of 60 euros. After you receive a confirmation, your spot is reserved.
CANCELATION POLICY
In case you need to cancel the ceremony, you are obliged to transfer 15 euros reservation and administration fee by bank. As from the 13th of May (a week before) you owe us the full amount of 60 euros (NB: it is possible to sell your spot to someone else).

Yama and Hans bring Shamanic Sound Medicine Ceremonies and private Tantra/Sound Healing Sessions.
In February-March 2017 they made a deeply inspiring journey into the Peruvian Amazone to be One with the jungle. Working with sacred plant medicine and connecting deeply with the plant spirits, they got deep insights into the ancient power and knowledge of the plants and animals and all the beautiful beings that came along on their colourful journey. In this realm of high consciousness and full potential they were initiated as a gifted Medicine Couple with the profound task to translate this priceless knowledge into sounds and touch in their work at home.
DEVA YAMA VOORHORST
Yama’s teachings and transmissions are based on her fully embodied experience in healing herself in different sacred traditions, lineage teachings and initiations, the most profound ones being the Kaula Heart of All, her Tantric Family, the Plant Masters in the Amazonian jungle and the ancient healing ways of the indigenous Paqo’s in the Andean mountains.
By overcoming several ‘uncurable’ diseases, she deeply connected with nature and all of creation, finding herself on an ancient shamanic path, having access to universal spiritual wisdom and being able to transmit these transcendental energies into this world. Yama brings hidden (but not secret) ancient healing tools that (re)activate the deep yet often forgotten power within you. HANS KARSSEN
While today’s time rumbles forward as an express train, Hans embarked on a journey back in time with an instrument that has its origin in the Aboriginal clans of Northern Australia. This versatile instrument deeply enriches his life in a spiritual as well as in a physically way.
Traveling for a long time in its country of origin to taste the sand of the land, Hans gained valuable knowledge to produce his own homemade didgeridoos and through the years he created a big collection of didges made from different kind of woods, in addition to original eucalyptus species. In the 15 years that Hans mainly played the didgeridoo, he gained many influences and teachings, so his music styles vary widely from percussive, dance and funky grooves to deeply meditative.
After some thorough transformation work, i.a. with sacred plant medicine from the Amazon, the movement towards Sound Healing sessions and ceremonies (re)occured, besides his musical projects. This healing work is about a deep rememberance of our actual human existence, a universal consciousness, our collective and individual inspiration from which everyone and everything is built. WIth sound as his tool, he is able to share from this space of awareness, translating the high states of pure consciousness that he finds there into vibrations, using the Sun Gong, singing bowls, – bars, chimes, his guitar and more in addition to his didges.
