This is the 10th didgeridoo from the Z.M.Collection.. and what a kind of a didgeridoo.!
Absolutely beautiful instrument in the way it plays and sounds. It reacts consciously to every small detail in the given technique from the body. In the building process I already took this one into a couple of events. The drone is rich in harmonics, it gives a wide spectrum of resonance. Very easy drone / trumpet transition. Allows me to freely choose in between styles and she only gives way to whatever to be played that is in my capacity. Inviting me to give what I want, that is what I really like to feel in the connection with didgeridoo. I left the mouthpiece in this unusual form, because I do fit it very good, knowing it will be a didgeridoo that be part of my private collection.
In the 18 years that I play didgeridoo, I have visualised these dream didgeridoo’s and that’s what I like to craft or at least to point at, and this instrument is one too! Meditative, rhythmical, percussive and even semi-traditional styles are all welcome in the 10th version.
The trees are naturally died and where sorted on high quality timber by myself. The sound of these instruments is a result of over 17 years research, experience and study throughout my didgeridoo journey.
White wash look, with a slice engraved from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine. Designed with wood carvings and high quality finish on the in and outside. These instruments are rare and true collector items in sound , design ánd Spirit.
